It’s normal and healthy to talk to someone if you’re struggling or you need to make sense of how you’re thinking and feeling. Sometimes its easier than talking to a friend or a relative and I offer a space where you can talk about yourself and your life without worrying about the other person.

Hello, my name is Lynne and I am a professionally qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Are you overwhelmed by your thoughts and feelings or feeling like you're carrying the weight of the world?

Do you tend to keep your feelings locked up inside or find it difficult to express yourself in your relationships with others ~ friends, colleagues, family or your partner?

Are you stuck in a pattern you'd like to break free of or feel like you need to cope with everything on your own?

Perhaps whatever you're going through right now is leaving you feeling anxious, depressed or having problems in your relationships.

We can all feel overwhelmed at times and in need of support but you don’t always have to struggle to work things out on your own.

Finding someone to talk to when you feel this way is a sign of strength, not weakness; whatever has brought you to this point it’s where you go from here that matters.

We can work together to explore what’s overwhelming you, so you can feel more in control, more able to express yourself and improve communication with those around you.

Welcome to Uniquely You

Building healthier relationships with others begins with building a healthier relationship with yourself and I offer therapy that is tailored to you and your individual needs.

I work with young adults and adults from all walks of life, supporting individuals with a wide range of challenges. I also work with couples and have a special interest in supporting individuals and couples on the parenting journey, whether you are thinking about becoming a parent, experiencing difficulties with conception, or already caring for children. Parenthood can be both deeply rewarding and challenging, and the emotional ups and downs can feel overwhelming at times. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where individuals and couples can explore their feelings, work through challenges, and find ways to nurture themselves, their relationships, and their family life.
